Michael doing what he does best... not quite sure what that is exactly.

It all started in the not so distant past with a will and a dream... well, basically just shear boredom and a defiance of the norm. Throughout all four years of High School in Mr. George Trouts beloved Industrial Materials Class (a.k.a.: Wood Shop Class), I built guitars. Where mostly all else were preoccupied with making furniture and such, I tackled my first bass build. It was there that a musical inclination spawned from a love of making music, to creating the tools to do so. From then on I was hooked. Attending the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery in Phoenix, AZ. in the fall of 2004 catapulted me head first into the industry. Post graduation I joined the First-Act Studio for Artists custom shop team in Boston, MA. as an apprentice, and later as a full time employee, taking on custom builds for such big names as The Los Lonely Boys, High on Fire, The Dillinger Escape Plan, & The Drive By Truckers. From there, I went on to work for Ken Smith Basses in Perkasie, PA. for a brief period before striking out on my own. Opened up a shop and the rest is history. Now I have built a name into my workmanship and people recognize such a contagious passion for quality. It's been a long road to where I am and it grows even longer still. Madd props to those who have helped me along the way.
